Living at the Willows
We have prepared this guide to provide you and your family an insight into our care home, so you have a idea of exactly what to expect when moving a loved one into one of our homes.
An overview
At Extrafried homes our top priority is to provide quality of care to our residents along with the health, well-being and happiness.
Our staff team is equipped and supported by our seniors and manager to to deliver this daily
Our motto is:
“We live to see smiles on the faces of all our residents”

Visiting your
loved one
We encourage you to visit your loved one, because we feel your visits brings joy, well being and enhanced quality of life to your loved one.
As an added benefit of this, as a family member or a friend, you are able to maintain close contact and life-long relationship with your loved one and if interested provide support with their care
Alongside visits from family and friends we encourage all types of visitors including members of the community, who can provide entertainment or support services.
Visitors are welcome to visit (with resident’s permission) either in a bedroom, private room, or spend time in communal areas.

Dining Experience
Great food is at the heart of a happy home.
Our skilled kitchen team prepares a wide variety of freshly cooked, nutritious meals, carefully tailored to the tastes and dietary needs of our residents.
From traditional favourites and homemade cakes to seasonal specialities, we provide meals that bring joy to the table.
Our annual ‘Family and Friends Summer Party’ and ‘The Willows Christmas Lunch’ are highlights in our calendar.
Using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, our menus offer comfort, variety, and
balanced meals to ensure everyone looks forward to mealtimes.

Life Enjoyment and
Enrichment Activities
Our well-being mission is to provide an enriched life for all, where choice and opportunity is in abundance. We get to know our residents by talking to them about their interests, hobbies, likes and dislikes. This gives us a handle on things they love, whilst also providing opportunities to discover something new.
Our activities teams prepare weekly activity plans to
stimulate our resident’s the mind, body and soul. This also includes connecting with communities, celebrating national and international events, providing entertainment, exercise sessions and religious services as well as virtual opportunities.
Residents are welcome to leave the care home, for days out. We also offer various trips out for our residents to enjoy locations in the community.
Families are also welcome to join in with communal
activities, outings and events. You can ask our home at any time for what activities are available for you to participate in.
